I caught this Toad last night as he sat on my door step. He was basking in the glow of the porch light, waiting patiently for the next unsuspecting bug to clumsily arrive. In the blink of an eye he pounced on one , then another and another. Eventually he was too full to move so I found an old mason jar to capture him. As I stooped down to sweep him into the jar .A loud piercing scream suddenly lifted me off the ground, Before I returned to terra firma the lecture had all ready begun....."Don't you know that toads cause (Bleep) WARTS!"...... Her voice trailed off in the distance as I turned the corner into my neighbors backyard, two houses down. As I sat in the dark desperately trying regain my manliness, a thought occurred to me. Which is worse a gravity defying scream or warts. An inquiring mind wants to know.
