A 'Little Blue Heron' wades through the shallow waters of the
'Gulf of Mexico' close to a popular beach. An adept hunter she takes her time traveling and searching for small unaware fish as well as any invertebrates foolish enough to make a dash in an attempt to avoid becoming part of the days feast. Stuart. How fortunate you are to live in such a beautiful and warm climate. I'm under snow right now and it's been like that all November. Crazy early for this cold. We do not have any such wonderful birds and this one is wonderful with it's soft blue feathers and lime green legs! Looks so calm and has an intense stare. Really good photo! :-) Maggie
