Description
A juvenile ibis attempts to take a drink of fresh water. Although he didn't quite get it all down, as he raised his head to swallow some errant drops flew off of his beak. Much to my surprise I managed to capture the water droplets in mid-air. Taken on the edge of a swamp in Florida. Enjoy

Awe inspiring photography Stuart; such fine detail in his feathers atop his head (and elsewhere), the lighting could not be any better and of course the wonderful water droplets- this is a reflection of your outstanding talent!! :-)))

Stuart ... I'm getting lost in this one ... don't know what enchants more ... the gleaming droplets ... the amazing, delicate lighting on the lower eyelid ... and of course that fabulous black background ... another work of art!!!
