I took this, late afternoon, photograph will looking up into a tree where a Great Blue Heron was perched on a branch. When I raised my camera and focused, I noticed the heron was looking down at me. I realized this would be the last view of say, a frog or some other helpless creature before being devoured. My mind raced back in time as I realized that this bird's ancestors were dinosaurs.....a shiver went down my spine. Taken at the edge of a swamp on the gulf coast of Florida. Enjoy.......
