Description
A delicate white wildflower in the midst of a struggle to maintain it's normal upright posture. I am reminded of the 'Human Condition' as we too struggle to stand up straight in the face of adversity. Churchill said it best, "Keep calm and carry on." Taken during a storm on the gulf coast of Florida........enjoy.

Love this image. The contrasting tones work very well and the petal direction gives it that unusual real feel, not perfect and polished which I like. Great mood Stuart :)

What a great comment Karen.....Segar and 'Against the Wind!'. We do live in trying times....I have locked myself up.....I escape now and then with my camera. Like you I drive around looking for birds.

Wow Stuart, I love this little flower struggling to stand straight. The instant I saw this I thought of the song by Bob Segar, Against the Wind...Well done and very fitting for this period of our life. f/l

I know it might sound crazy but every now and then I have an idea....this is one of the few that worked.

Such a beautiful image and one that I easily feel connected with as I often ascribe human qualities to some of my images. This image really does give the feeling of the struggle and I think it is beautiful and emotional. Very well done! :) Maggie
